One New Trend This Fall

I think it is important that, consumers understand that there is no one trend for every season.  Lots of designers, colorists, stores, magazines, etc, predict many different trends for one seasons.  Trends become big when one or more people predict similar trends or some of the same ones.  With that said, everyone should be able to find a trend that works for them and their body type!  That's the amazing part about fashion being so big!

So here is a trend predicted for the Fall that I really like!
Starting with my colors:

Fashion Mag, says it best, "A range of metal rusted gold and amber tones with oil slick blues set on a base of saturated ink tones. If color could age this is the personification of the process. The inspiration comes from rusted metals and oil spills where in destruction creates beauty that can only happen naturally with age. Gray casted neutrals against rusty gold and copper spilling into a warm mauve and oily jade. Even the olive and the brown deepen with age."- 11/23/2009 (http://us.fashionmag.com)

Fabrics:

"Distressed twills and canvas, reworked and patchworked, cracked leather, frayed and tinted denim and cobweb and snagged knits. The fabrics are traditional fabrics and materials like tweeds and wools that reclaim the beauty of old and worn out. Distressed twills and canvas add to the work feel. Repatched, reworked and recreated are key to a worn feel."- 11/23/2009 (http://us.fashionmag.com)

Is this what you are seeing?  Let me know!
